I recently came across one of my roommates old childhood books. Take a look at the cover, and you'll get a pretty clear idea of the message. Some of the zingers that are included in the 9 horrific pages of this book are below (I imagine them said in a high-pitched, empty sort of voice):
"We dust the tables."
"We carpet-sweep."
"Some days we wash our hair..."
Hmmm....
Not surprisingly, the date on this little gem is 1952.
All I can say is, it's nice to be living in 2009.
