This post begins my quest of finding, naming, and mocking the worst movie ever to be created. I was inspired to start this series after paying $7.50 to see the horrificly bad "Have you heard about the Morgans?" (I know, I should have known) and getting angry about it. Since my bad movie experience was just one of many, I figured something must be done.
This is my attempt to call out terrible movies, point at them, laugh at them, and basically put them to their much-deserved shame.
Enjoy.
Worst Movie of all Time Contestant #1: A Walk to Remember.
Reasons for nomination: Mandy Moore. Fifty bad romantic movie cliches mashed together in one corny, sappy, badly acted film. Shane West. 100 quotes that made me want to run screaming from the theater. Weeping girls all around me. Mandy Moore.
Horrible quote to ensure its nomination: "Our love is the wind. I can't see it, but I can sure feel it." - Landon "the 'tough' but secretly sensitive mopey guy."
The moment I knew it would make this post: The first time Mandy Moore spoke...
Scale of 1-10 on how much intense-dislike-bile came up while watching? 10.
Honestly, this one will probably win. It's the worst.

haha, it was pretty bad. I put in my vote for the most recent (#3) Star Wars and Mr. Brooks. But really, a romantic comedy should win this award, there is just so much possibility for horribleness in that category.
At the risk of showing my advancing age, I would have to nominate Love Story--which is the movie that I am sure "A Walk to Remember" was attempting to emulate. (However, at the age of 16 I cried an embarressing amount at the theater.) What line could ever top "Love means never having to say you are sorry" for the all time worst, often quoted, stupidest string of words ever uttered?
