Fanboys

If you grew up a fan of the original Star Wars films, you really need to see this movie. It follows four friends as they road-trip their way to Skywalker Ranch in order to break in and watch the rough cut of The Phantom Menace.
Anyone who appreciates the first Star Wars films will enjoy the magnitude of these characters love for the movies and the depth of their Star Wars knowledge. It's funny, enjoyable, and very endearing. These are guys that you want to know and hang out with.

Most importantly, at the end of Fanboys there is a clear reference to the fact that the creators of the film think the new Star Wars movies take away from the old ones and are no good in general. You'll know the reference when you see it. As someone who hated the new and "improved" Star Wars films and thought they did terrible things for the original films reputations, I appreciated that sentiment the most.
